Welcome to the Indian Cultural Organisation of Lincolnshire (ICOL)

ICOL is the first Indian charitable organisation in Lincolnshire (Registered UK Charity: 14423288), formed in June 2022.

We are a group of passionate individuals committed to promoting and preserving Indian culture in Lincolnshire through vibrant cultural and religious events, educational programs, and community-building activities.

Our motto, Vasudev Kutumbakam ("The World Is One Family"), embodies our belief in unity and cultural diversity. Join us in celebrating India's rich heritage right here in Lincolnshire!

Although the Indian community in Lincolnshire is smaller in number compared to Greater London and similar bigger cities, the impact created by us in medicine, science and engineering is well recognised.

Lincolnshire India Day 2022

On 24 September 2022, nearly 2000 attendees celebrated Lincolnshire’s first India Day, hosted by ICOL. With vibrant music, traditional dances, cultural showcases, and delicious Indian cuisine, the day was a resounding success. Distinguished guests, including the Consul General of India, joined local leaders in celebrating Indian heritage and community spirit.

Holi In The Park - 2023

A colorful celebration of joy, unity, and culture! Holi in the Park 2023 brought together the community for a fun-filled day of vibrant colors, music, dance, and delicious food. Families and friends enjoyed traditional activities, live performances, and the spirited festivities of India's festival of colours in Lincolnshire.
