Who we are ?
- Indian Cultural Organisation of Lincolnshire ICOLor ICOLincs is a not-for-profit (UK Charitable Organisation: 14423288) widely known as the first ever Indian charity organization for Lincolnshire. ICOL was formed in June 2022 with a clear vision and objective to promote the awareness of the culture of India to the people of Lincolnshire.
- ICOL MOTTO: Vasudev Kutumbakam (The World Is One Family).
- We are a group of self-motivated professionals, who want to show our rich culture and share it with the community in which we live and flourish.
- Although the Indian community in Lincolnshire is smaller in number compared to Greater London and similar bigger cities, the impact created by us in medicine, science and engineering is well recognised.
- We plan to organise different events of cultural and religious significance so that the community can gather together and raise the awareness about our culture.

Holi is a vibrant and joyous festival that celebrates the arrival of spring and the triumph of good over evil. It is a time for people of all ages and backgrounds to come together and enjoy music, food, and lots of colorful powder.

Why We Are Doing This?
- Holi is a festival of colours. It is a celebration of spring, love, and the victory of good over evil. On Holi, people celebrate by throwing colored powder and water at each other, dancing, and singing. It is meant to be a time of joy and celebration, and it is an opportunity for people to come together and have fun.
- To celebrate this milestone, the vibrant Indian community in Lincolnshire is organizing a free-to-attend fair (also known as Mela) in Boston.
- This event will showcase how Holi is celebrated in India, along with the different aspects of Indian culture, food and games.
- The event will be inaugurated by Consulate General of India, MP of Boston and Mayor of Boston.
Causes
The key mission of the event, which aims to showcase different aspects of Indian culture, arts, religion, and food in Lincolnshire and to raise money for charities in the UK.

At our Holi event, we will provide a fun and festive atmosphere where people can enjoy the traditions of Holi, such as playing with colorful powders and dancing to lively music. We will also have delicious authentic Indian food and drinks stalls available so that everyone can have a great time.

Gates Open to Public. Authentic Indian Food stalls, Mehndi stall, Jewellery, Games stalls and Bouncy Castles will be open to trade at the park.

Arrival of Chief Guests. Inauguration of Holi @ The Park 2023 event by Chief guests.

Colour Play
1PM to 3:30PM -- Colour play with Live Music, DJ, Bhangra Dhol, Surprise dance performances. Skin-Safe colour powder can be bought at the event or pre-ordered on our website to collect on the day.
4 PM
End of the Event
All the Food and other stalls will stop trading at 4PM. Closing down of the Event.
