HOLI IN THE PARK - 2023

What are we doing ?

Holi is a vibrant and joyous festival that celebrates the arrival of spring and the triumph of good over evil. It is a time for people of all ages and backgrounds to come together and enjoy music, food, and lots of colourful powder.

Holi is a festival of colours. It is a celebration of spring, love, and the victory of good over evil. On Holi, people celebrate by throwing colored powder and water at each other, dancing, and singing. It is meant to be a time of joy and celebration, and it is an opportunity for people to come together and have fun.

To celebrate this Holi, the vibrant Indian community in Lincolnshire is organising a free-to-attend fair (also known as Mela) in Boston.

This event will showcase how Holi is celebrated in India, along with the different aspects of Indian culture, food and games.

The event will be inaugurated by Consulate General of India, MP of Boston and Mayor of Boston.
